Hi Steve and thank you for giving us the opportunity to post on your blog! I am a married mother and also a military veteran who is no longer able to work a full-time job. My inability to work full-time led me to really sit down and think about what I could do to help support my family and give myself that gratification of accomplishing something meaningful in my life. I came up with one answer that I had been toying around with for years, but had never acted on…start my own business. The whole concept seemed mind-boggling…how would I start, what kind of resources would I need, what expertise did I bring to the table that would help ensure that my business would be a success? Anyway, I started two projects, one about 5 years ago, and one about a year ago (to allow myself some diversification, and to keep cash flow coming in), and although I can say I am proud that I have a business in which I am making somewhat of a living…I know I could be doing so much better! The problem is… I am not experienced enough about website design. I designed my websites on my own, but I really need to know how to attract more traffic to the sites, that is why I need your course ASAP. Steve, I know that I can learn what I need to know to make my sites successful, and I thank you in advance for your consideration.

Your course would allow my family to bless others. We feel that we are called to give to missions with our finances and with our service. Now we struggle just to pay the bills on time. We so desire to give because the need is so great! Hello Steve,We have been blessed with seven childen ranging in age from 4-24. My husband has always worked very hard at providing for us with absolutely no complaints. He has been a wonderful example for our children ……but we miss him in our lives. (He has worked 60-80 hrs. a week for 18 years) Over the last few years now we have dreamed of having daddy home with us all day, working together, providing together. Your tapes caught my eye last fall(I believe)on Cindy Rushton’s website, but we new that It was out of our price range. Since then I have been following your success in helping to “bring Daddy home.” I am excited ! Lately my dear husband has been reading your material also, on the internet and getting excited about the possible prospect of making our family dream come true. We have realized that I will be the one to first get things going until we can make enough to actualy free him from the dungeons of plant life. This sure would be a blessing to my family, as we continue to put in place what we learned in Financial Peace University and then bringing in additional income to do the things we know we need to do as Christian homeschoolers to raise the next generation of Godly leaders. My husband and I are blessed to be raising our children on our homestead in the Alaskan bush. Our business goes hand in had with our life out here. Our goal is to bring glory to God as we help people learn to prepare for the future and become more independent —- meaning less dependence on the world. We are starting a forum now, and will add a blogging network, online magazine, newsletter, books and booklets (both e-books and paper) and later some videos and workshops. These will help city folks who just want to learn basic skills such as herb gardening, wildcrafting and storing food, all the way to families planning a big move “off the grid” and into the wilderness who will need extensive skills in land clearing, building, alternative energy, etc. Currently my husband writes for magazines and we have started a couple of booklets, but we have just connected with a web host and are excited to be getting our plans off the ground. Your course will be very helpful in the coming weeks and months as we overcome the technical challenges to building and expanding our website and family business.

If we won this course I would use it to first train my oldest son how to market his time based media production business on the internet. I would then use it to market our street ministry business that has the goal of spreading the gospel of Jesus in our city. In addition I would help others that are starting a business and teach them what I learned from so they can prosper financially and bless others and the Kingdom of God. My goal is to steward this training so it glorifies God and blesses others.

Steve wow where do I begin? The Lord has given me a vision to go to the nations: ethnos groups, right here in America. There has to be way to establish respect and submission to those in authority across our land with those who are entering our nation.
So I am lauching a nationwide Foreign Language Study Program beginning with Homeschoolers. I believe that God has set this revolutionary mini-movement in motion and He desires that we be that group of people who will be bi-tri-and quad lingual in this nation. People of other nations are coming here and are able to take over jobs that Americans are not qualified for because we only speak one language. Therefore positons of authority are going to those who do not hold values like our own. Enter HS’s they have core values and beliefs that will effect those who are legal and not legal coming to America. So I would use my website to open up the field of Foreign Languages wide open for us. This will not only benefit our children but will benefit the parents. This will open up jobs for parents to stay home and it will be finacially feasible for them. It will allow us to take our core values to the nations right here. Imagine the jobs that are available for translators. They are needed everywhere. Even on the web!
The website will be a place of reference, encouragment and have the tools to help anyone move ahead in this area. And I will be speaking and leading a vision of submission, respect and honoring God through reaching the Nations right here at home and showing them the way, the truth, and the life. I could never put into 200 words all I have envisioned for a website.
I do know I don’t have much time to invest to build one as I am being invited already to speak (which by the way I’ve been doing for four years for a major Foreign Language company), and I will need someone to walk me through this; website building, running it, etc.
We will build the website, oversee it, and use it to bring glory to God. And if I ‘win’?, I’d use my knowledge and experience to get the next guy going!
My workforce those who will yoke with me are waiting for calls about what to research, what to do next. Until I get the tools and the understanding of the World-Wide Web I really can’t go any further. I need to understand the how too’s, the why too’s, and the when too’s. And then I can begin to put all my countless hours of research into place.

My vision is to train up my children (sons, especially) to be employers, rather than employees. I don’t want them to be “cogs” in the world’s machine, but rather men who employ others and help them to be employers. I find it appalling (and telling) that at the turn of the 21st century that 30% of the population employs the other 70%, while at the turn of the previous century, those numbers were reversed. In addition to training them up in the business skills through a family business, I also want to be able to work with my family, so that I’m discipling them to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. That is, in everything they do. As we’re no longer an agrarian society as a whole (though some have succeeded in becoming more so), one of the best ways today to have a family business is via the internet, as the Becks have taught us. I’m looking forward to learning more!

Hello! Thank you for offering a course like this. I have longed for years for the ability to contribute significantly to our household income while working from home.

If I were chosen for this course, I would use it for multiple purposes. First, to set up my own site, enabling me to generate income to supplement my husband’s without having to leave home or forgoing homeschooling our three children. I worked outside our home for three years after my first child was born and hated almost every minute of it. I felt trapped, though, incapable of leaving to come home where I belonged because we depended on my income. Eventually, I could not continue to work – no matter what the financial cost to us – the inner conflict and turmoil was tearing me apart. I became very depressed and reached a point where I was a terrible wife and mother as well as failing at my job because of the strain of living in conflict with God’s will for our family. I eventually took a leave of absence from my job and never returned. I sought for years for a source of income from home and know that the internet offers incredible opportunities. I’ve achieved some success with online sales but haven’t achieved what I need or want to. I know I need additional training to do that and that it is my lack of internet savvy that is holding me back. My husband’s income is going to be reduced by about 30% in the next several months. He loves his job, though, and we do not want to move in order for him to chase the next job. Ideally, we’d like to replace the lost income with internet income. Super-ideally, we’d like to replace his job with internet income, allowing him to pursue his passion as a hobby.

My second goal in using this course would be to provide our children with practical skills that would enable them to support themselves without relying on outside employment. I strongly desire that my children catch the “entreprenurial spirit” and not get caught up in the employment trap. My children are reaching the age where they want spending money of their own and are looking for ways to acquire it from home. This course would be used to help them achieve their goals.

Finally, I am passionate about helping women see that they do not have to leave their children and forsake precious time with their children in order to provide for them. The world has duped families into believing that both parents must work outside the home in order to meet basic needs. I want to be part of the movement that recognizes that we have made a huge trade off in pursuit of material possessions and social status – we have traded the lives of our children, justifying it as being for their benefit. I would use my website and knowledge to give women the courage to leave the workplace and return to their children, providing them with the tools to be able to do so. Being raised in a single parent family, I am particularly sympathetic towards women who find themselves in the role of single parent, whatever the reason, and would reach out to them, offering them the hope of supporting their children without sacrificing them in the process.

I would use this course to achieve the vision I’ve caught and then to pass it on to my children and other women.

“Secrets to Building Sites that Sell” will help me to be able to stay home with my children and homeschool them rather than have to send them to public school next year if I have to go back to the (out-of-the-home) workforce. We will be more than likely be needing the extra income when we take a cut in pay next year due to moving. It will also help us to pay down debt and be able to bless others in the process.

Our family has a deep desire to have both parents at home working and raising our family together.
