That is exactly what happened to us. We received a Windows update during the night and then we could no longer print correctly to our hp wide format printer. It was so aggravating, especially since we had to pay for the hp technical phone support to try to figure it out (they did not, by the way). Todd and I finally deduced the problem and were able to correct it – with the price of lost data and technical support expenses. Aaghh! I wish MS would ask you if you would like an update, instead of doing it automatically.

Anyway, great post on 4/26. Really good info!
