Marketing information products, or ebooks, is one of the best ways to make money online. The first thing you should do is research about what the market wants to read in an ebook. After you write your ebook, you need to get traffic to your website that sells your ebook.
What is one of the best ways to get more visitors to buy your ebook?
Articles, of course! When you write articles around the key word phrases from your ebook research, you will increase the backward links to your ebook. This is done with a link at the bottom of each of those articles leading people back to your e-book page. At the bottom of your article, you can write something about the author and what you will give them when they arrive at your website. Some people call this your ethical bribe.
If you are writing an article that tells your reader how to save money, you can include a resource box like this one. “Stephen Beck has written many articles on throwing a wonderful wedding on a shoestring budget and is giving away a free report entitled, Saving Money While Still Having a Great Wedding. Click here for your free copy.”
When they click on that link to get your free report, they’re will be whisked away to your e-book page. When they get to your e-book web page, there will be a pop-up for their name and email so you can send them your free report. Meanwhile they’re already at your page and they’re reading about your e-book and all the things it can do for them.
Once your article is written, you will blast it to the articles and e-zine directories on the web for massive e-book promotion. Why in the world would we blast them all over the internet? Because webmasters are notoriously lazy and they love free articles. They don’t mind a bit that your articles are going to direct the reader back to your website.
When these articles become a part of other people’s web pages and blogs, they provide backward links to your site and they establish you an an authority in your market. This really improves your ranking in search engines and drives visitors to your ebook sales page.
