We are a homeschooling family. I have recently developed health problems that force me to plan a career change, and I am the sole family income. As a mom, I am torn between doing what I must for us to survive financially, caring for my beloved patients as a nurse, and wanting to be home with my family. I have dreamed of starting a home business selling homeschooling books. A successful sales website would enable me to keep our family afloat financially while allowing me to stay home with my kids and would keep my disease from controlling our future.

I wanted to let you know that we are a homeschooling family with three children under eight. My husband has been out of work since October on medical disability, and our income is day to day. The only hours in my day to create income for our family is late at night, and I can’t leave my children alone to go to work. Working on the computer is the best answer I have come up with to aide our family during this possibly permanent transition. Your product is what this barely-computer-functional mom needs to provide for my family.

Beck Family,

Thank you for working your way through countless hours of learning the Internet business. And even more thanks for passing on the knowledge to those coming behind you. It will surely be a blessing to many.

I’ve read the many entries submitted and see great needs in various families. I trust that the families who do not “win” the free package will still see that they “win” if they purchase “Secrets to Building Sites that Sell.” I have read over your site and heard you explain in detail what you are helping others to accomplish. I am convinced! Expect to see me attempting to be one of the first 10 people to purchase this course. I know you could charge a much greater amount than you do, I’m thankful that you chose the price you did. Though it will be a stretch for my family and I, and unfortunately many families will shy away from purchasing, I believe that God will bless this and help us recover that cost and much more.

My 100 words for the record:
Currently, I am a minister working in a church and attending seminary. My wife is able to stay at home and raise our 5 beautiful children. Though finances have always been tight, the Lord has always provided. I trust that with your help in this course, our family may be able to rise above “getting by” to helping others get ahead. My prayer is that we would plant a family-integrated church that we would not receive a salary from the church in order that God would use the tithes and offerings to help reach more people and meet needs worldwide.

Dear Steve;

Like so many other homeschooling families we are living on one income. Although we believe we are led to homeschool, the struggle to make ends meet often leaves me feeling stressed and concerned for our future. Recently my husband took a paycut when he took a job that would allow him to be home a bit more ( he still works over 60 hours a week ). We believe in our hearts this job was a Godsend.

Over the past two years I have given much thought to an online business, both as a way to help ends meet and as a family activity. Since the paycut the idea of an online business has been on my mind more and more. I have researched products, hosting companies, website designers, and I admit I find it all overwhelming. I do not have the technical know how to build a site but one wrong choice and your odds of success plummet, and we certainly cannot afford any poor choices.

I heard about your new product from Cindy Rushton’s ezine. It appears to cover everything ~ including topics I admit I hadn’t even considered! Although I have been receiving and reading your emails, I’m sorry to say that we cannot afford it.

Best wishes & God’s blessings on your future success and your determination to help folks succeed.

Judy

Thank you for your hours and days of work on this project. Your contest is a beautiful idea, reading the responses has help clarify some ideas for me. We’ll pray for your family as you continue your schooling. Thanks for being a blessing to us!

My 100 words:
Thank you for the opportunity to put into words why your course is important for our family. Three of our four children have an inherited condition, which will cause them to be unable to work a “regular” schedule because of frequent bouts with pain. I have hopes that they will be able to earn an income, if they can work as their health allows. An Internet based business seems like a good fit. I’ve been praying about their futures lately, because I’m starting to realize that their Dad and I won’t always be here to provide for them.

Hi, Steve! We are excited about your new video series. Here are my 100 words: We would love to win a set of these great videos for our home school family of 5! Since April of 2006, my husband and I have launched an EBAY store, as well as another business. We are praying for God’s direction and blessing as He has led us to “bring AND keep Dad home” and teach our children to be entreprenuers. We believe your website and the many things we have learned from your articles, has been a blessing from God. We want to be sure and do our best with what God has given us, and believe your video set will help us toward that goal! God bless you!

I have been wading through so much, trying to make a good web site. My goal is to create a successful business plan for our Erie, Pa, area.
After that, I hope to share the success with others around America.
While others are hoping to sell over the internet, I believe the focus should be on local cooperation and working together.
Who knows if the internet will be available in the future?
Or will the dollar become valueless?
How will we barter and trade amongst ourselves?

I firmly believe in local cooperation, but if I have an idea or a way of doing something that will help people, why not share it with millions of Christians around the world?

That is the power of the internet!

And the world’s largest barter and trading place is found on the internet…Ebay!

Just some random thoughts.

Hi!

I am not commenting to be in the contest, just because I am SO pumped reading all of the comments here! :)

Steve and Kerry, I *CANNOT* wait for my box to get here! I have a list of things that I plan to learn with you immediately–about using Aweber (hope to begin that when the set arrives)…begin my affiliate program (told you on the call the other night–any of you looking for some great products…we will have them available soon!)…and revamp my shopping cart (thanks for ideas on that during the call the other night!).

I just want to make a special note to really encourage all of you in your businesses. God has AMAZING things in store for you and your family! It simply FIRES me up to see so many people with the dreams that we have as well. Don’t you think that God is up to something HUGE?

Invest in your business. It will make things SOOOOoooo much easier! My biggest mistakes were from delegating our web design to someone else–sad to know. I just wrote this on my discussion list. Hope it is ok to share it here:

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I felt that WE did make mistakes in the early years. It costs me WAY more to get my website up–and the guy never finished what I paid him to do. It took years before I could save enough money to get more help. Even then, that help cost more than Steve’s set. NOW…she was TOTALLY worth it. But, if I had to make a choice NOW, I would definitely get his set and use all of the free software that he recommends. Funny–I have seen the sampler of the set and he recommends (and shows you how to use) ALL of the programs that I have ended up going back to after spending a fortune on programs that are just too complicated to use.

ONE thing I have not mentioned to anyone is that people will not tell you that if you use programs, etc…that your search engine rankings will not be as high as they are using HTML coding and CSS. Most Web Designers don’t tell you because they do not know how to code themselves. :0 You will not only get the EXACT site that you want…you will also get great rankings on the search engines. He has just done a SUPER job on this set!

Try to be one of the first when he releases this set–then, you can ALSO get the free audios from this summer’s conference–EVEN MORE help with getting your business started.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Soooo, get ready for a great set! If you have no idea where to begin–you only have an idea, this set is PERFECT for you! If you have tried before to get your site going and it was just TOO hard, invest in this mentoring on DVD! You can tune in to Steve at any time of the day or night AND listen step-by-step as many times as you need! You can’t beat that! AND…if you have a site, but want it to be even better (MY WISH!)…get ready for the help you have been needing!

OH! Is this more than 100 words? UGH! Always have a problem with that! ha!

Love ya all!
Cindy

We could increase our niche market and teach our children more about entrepreneurship. We currently run a computer consulting and a high voltage consulting business, quite a combination, as you might expect. We have not had much time or personnel available to work on our website lately. It would be great to get our children, particularly our oldest son, involved in this part of the business. I want him to learn the feeling of satisfaction that comes from tackling and accomplishing something that really stretches you (as opposed to games). This program sounds like it fits the bill for us.

(This is not part of the 100 words. You ought to hire Cindy Rushton as a publicist. )

Hummm…Melanie, think I COULD have another “business” out there? ha!

Uhh…seriously! I JUST finished Steve’s new tutorial for audio recording. It has me PUMPED UP! Our audio from our interview is just a sampling of how I learned to add the intro and exit music to my podcast using his “help” step-by-step (hear it at http://www.MomtoMomPodcast.com–Steve is this ok? I forget that I am at YOUR blog. GRIN).

AND…it is only a sampling of the great help in THIS set! Just imagine how buzzed I will be when I get Sites that Sell! Woohoooo!

Well, must get to bed…rumor has it that tomorrow is a BIG day for me! ha!

Love ya!

Mr. Beck
It is very humbling to stand alongside these other deserving families who are pursuing their dreams just like we are. By winning this product, we will have the tools to supplement my husband’s income, renovate our living space from 650 square feet to 1700 square feet, and inspire our five children to think entrepreneurially. Our ideas are gifts from God. We trust him fully to use them for his glory.

Thank you,

Kathy

My husband is already self-employed so we know the value of having your own business and hope to impart this vision to our three sons. After spending countless hours developing a website, we found that because of the software’s limitations, only the homepage is indexed by the search engines! I believe Secrets to Building Sites That Sell will take you by the hand and carefully explain all the important steps and details that are vital to creating an online business that really works. Most importantly, I have confidence in the author’s integrity and believe he truly desires to help families succeed at internet marketing.

Thank you,

Lisa

Steve,
Thank you for sharing your expertise and generosity. May God continue to bless you and your family.
My 100 words:
Shamefully, my family is in great debt due to poor stewardship of God’s money. My wonderful husband works very hard, but we are currently struggling. My 7 children and myself want and need to start a home business to help pay off our debts and honor our husband/father. We have been blessed with five girls, ages 15,13,12,10,8 and two boys, 4 and 7 months. We are raising our girls to be helpmeets and keepers of the home. An internet business provides us with a perfect business that each child can develop and take with them wherever God leads them in the future.
We desperately need Steve’s course and will be unable to purchase the course due to financial restraints. There are many needy and deserving families of this free course. Who ever is chosen, it will be God’s will and it is perfect. Thank you so much, I am encouraged to persevere and succeed simply because of your(Steve’s) leadership and committment to helping others.
Thank you,
Bev

My husband pastors a small church in rural Nebraska without pay. Job opportuinties are few here, but the need to share the gospel is great. We hope to create a family business that would allow a true multigenerational opportunity so dad can stop working outside the church and our children won’t have to leave the area as they grow up. The internet seems like our only hope of accomplishing this, but we lack knowledge. Our oldest has begun selling on e-bay but needs more instruction. Your product could help us tremendously though currently we could not afford it. Lyn

Hi Steve, My boys, 15 and 13 and I are really excited about building websites and are willing to work long and hard to accomplish the steep learning curve that will be necessary to master setting up an internet business. To reach our three family goals of becoming debt free, releasing our husband/Dad from the employee world and learning to work together as a family unit, we see your Building Sites that Sell as “the bridge” that we have been looking for that could carry us to the other side. We bless your ministry and are excited to “partner with you” in having our own family ebiz!

You have surely spent countless hours and days in loving service and sacrifice towards our existing community and the many yet to gather. Since I believe that God hears and answers prayer, I know that it is not by accident that I found out about the new “Secrets to Building Sites that Sell”. I am a homeschooling mother of five, and married to a wonderful man who has been self employed for over 20 years. My desire is to assist my husband in expanding his business so that he can stay at home. He calls me his “computer expert” since I know just a little more than he does about computers. I need the information and skills that Steve has made available. We want to enable our children to become entrepreneurs so that they may be able to be free to go and minister when an opportunity arises. Steve’s course can help me fulfill my role as a helpmeet to my husband and his work, and to give the skills necessary for my children to fulfill their destinies to further the kingdom of heaven. Just from the clips I have watched I know that I can accomplish these goals easier, more efficiently, and faster.
