I’m so sorry to be the source of controversy! I honestly did not notice the 100 word requirement or I would have certainly adhered to it. This was an unintentional oversight. I’m sorry.

Congrats Pamela! FYI according my version of Microsoft Word, using the Word Count tool, your paragraph is 100 words, 412 characters (no spaces), 511 characters (with spaces). I am happy to see you being blessed.

Pamela,

Not a problem! Actually, this is a good lesson for everyone. When you start to become successful on the internet, you become a target.

But it is a small price to pay for the opportunity to bless so many!

Stephen, I think you handled this situation with wisdom and grace. I thought of being part of this contest, but knew in my heart that I was not in a place to put into practice what this course would teach. I was certain that someone else would make better use of your generousity in giving this away.

After reading of the controversy, I am even more certain that this was true, and I am happily looking forward to hearing how this double blessing you are giving, will effect these families. I hope one day to purchase this from you and have my own success story to tell.

To the gentleman who wrote in with his concern: I hope he sees the benefit and worth of purchasing this for his own use. He obviously is looking for something better and is concerned with doing what is right. I believe in following rules and guidelines, but I also want to put credence in intent as well. May your family be blessed.

Well, I must say that this is an answer to prayer! I wrote the second winning comment, but let me tell you the rest of the story!

I wrote my original comment and was ready to post it, when I re-read the rules. I noticed the 100-word rule, and ran my comments through MS Word to check them. There were 140 words! I noticed many were making good comments, but were going over the 100-word requirement, or were posting past the time that the contest was to be over. In my job, precision is imperative, so I decided to pare my comments down to meet the requirement. It was hard to remove some of what I had written, but when I felt I had taken out all I could, I ran it through the word counter again, and it was EXACTLY 100 words! Steve, I think you made the right decision, even if I had not won. Standing by your word is important, and now I can use winning this course as a good example with which to teach my children.

I was praying to win, but had pretty much decided to buy the course anyway, even though we live on a strict budget, and did not really have the extra money right now. My son was VERY excited when I described the system to him, and I believe that it will be a life-changing thing for him as well as my other kids.

Thank you, Steve, for this opportunity to train the next generation to make a difference in the world and for their families!

Steve and everyone,

I am someone who has made the mistake of making a comment without good judgement and without thinking it out thoroughly. I am here publicly stating it so that others can see that when we wrong, we should be big enough to admit it and apologize.

My situation happened when I ordered the original STBSTS. Steve, do you and your wife remember me? I wrote to complain about the order not coming soon enough or something like that. We worked that out and I did apologize to you all; but I hope it means more for me to be here and stating it in front of everyone. Especially if we claim to be Christians.—Because it is NOT how we are supposed to behave. And it seems that when you Steve get ugly comments, it usually is regarding something you said or did or didn’t do. But like you say, once you get “promoted,” things change and you are subject to more of the world’s ugliness. We should look inside of ourselves and rise above these negative tendencies. Yada yada anyway…Please people don’t be mad at my posting because I know it is long. I’m trying to be a better person, and by talking about my mistake, maybe one reader can relate and we can change the world for the better. One action at a time.

Most sincerely, Alicia

Oh and P.S. Anyone who is on the fence about purchasing STBSTS let me nudge you into buying. Why? Because the value is in the potential. Steve shows and tells everything. Plus have you ever heard that saying, “See one, do one, teach one?” Well, if you let Steve teach you, next you will do it yourself and experience success; and then you can even teach and sell something yourself. Talk about perpetual success. Get that info out and GO ORDER! :)

Steve,

I read the controversy and comments with interest. Also being “out there” – I know what happens. FWIW, I thought you handled the situation graciously and appropriately.

We do not run our site as a “Christian” site. One reason is that so many who profess to be Christians have this small mindedness. It is harder than it seems to set up a contest like this, make the rules and then have it all go according to plan. Is there no room for grace? Isn’t that what Christianity is all about? If we were still under the law, would any of us make it? If so, why did Christ die anyway?

More power to you, my brother in Christ – you are a faithful witness.
