I know a lot of people who have an idea for an internet business. They just need to know where to begin. When we talk, I encourage them to learn how to find and use keywords in their niche. Keywords are crucial because they are the basic building blocks when you start an internet business. You use keywords in your articles. Google finds your keywords in your titles and in the body of your article and ranks your page higher. People find your page because you are closer to the top, and you get more traffic. With more traffic comes more sales. It is that simple.

So it makes no sense to just pull keywords out of thin air. People will not find your articles that way. Once article can include up to five or six keywords, so I let the keywords dictate what I write about. All that matters is what people want to know. If you keep that in mind, you will get very rich on the internet.

You also want to use your top keyword in the title of your article near the beginning. For example, if you do a search on “webinar strategy,” you might find this article, “Webinar Strategy – Four Ways To Promote Your Business.” Someone looking for information on webinar strategy will find this article and read it because it is exactly what they are looking for.

Keep in mind that your title should help you rank higher in the search engines, but it should also peak your reader’s curiosity. If it is interesting, people are more likely to read it. Remember that you want them to see you as an expert in your niche. You also want to generate some backward links and have them sign up to be on your list.

One more use for keywords is to include them in various places throughout your article. You can even use your less competitive keywords, and Google will rank your article higher for those. Think of it as getting the most bang for your buck.

So begin by doing your research. Figure out exactly what people are typing into the search engines for your niche. Then use those keywords as much as possible. You will see a difference in the amount of traffic AND your sales!

Use Webinar Training To Create Quick & Easy Information Products

You can do incredible things with internet based training through webinars. The webinar is one of the most powerful tools available to a business owner.Not only do webinars allow you to provide high-quality, low-cost training to people all over the world, they also allow you to create multiple information products from a single webinar.

The training itself is a product, but you can also record the video and turn that recording into a product. Another option is to record the audio and turn that into an audio CD for an additional product to offer your customers.

  

In addition, the transcripts can be captured from the training by a transcriber. These can be turned into a separate product also. You can even take the Powerpoint presentation that you use for the training and turn that into a product, such as a workbook or a bonus as part of a larger product.

One way you can use webinar training besides creating products is to use the content for marketing purposes. You can break up the transcripts into a number of articles and submit them to article directories for search engine optimization purposes. There are a number of resources that you can tap into by capitalizing on a single training session.

Internet based training also has the added benefit of being able to reach a large group of people at once. With average conversion rates ranging anywhere from 10% to 30%, this is an excellent form of leverage. Even 33% has been a rate I have seen in the past. Of couser, you can not count on a specific conversion rate, but can you imagine the payday you will receive if you have 100 participants and 33 of the buy your product?

Internet based training through webinars is one of the most efficient activities that you can engage in in your business. Instead of creating one product at a time, the webinar gives you the ability to create multiple products very easily. Webinars are just so valuable, yet are largely untapped. You owe it to yourself to tap into the webinar gold mine today!

How do articles do this? As an example, say you were to approach a table with 5 people in a restaurant. You ask the table “Are any of you a musician?” and one person raises their hand, you will probably take their word. On the other hand, if everybody at the table points to that person, you are even more likely to take their word for it. That is how search engines work.

If you are selling information and your website is about how to save money on weddings, people may believe you. However, if thirty people also say that your website is about that topic or even one hundred people, Google will think, “This website must be about that topic.” Google is even more likely to believe that when it visits your webpage and sees titles and content about saving money on weddings throughout the website.

Utilizing this strategy allows you to get high rankings for a number of keywords and phrases instead of one. Why? Articles get ranked in the search engines and they point back to your webpage. Using articles is like having a number of sales professionals promoting your products and services for a number of keywords and phrases. With this strategy you will have a number of people find your website. You also do not have to worry about the competition that comes with smaller keywords and phrases that are on millions of websites.

By using articles you will be able to dramatically increase the amount of traffic that your website receives. Even better, you will be able to take some of the traffic that your competitors receive. The reason why is because some of your competitors will pick up your articles and use them on their websites. They help you even if they are selling information for your topic also.

What this does in return is give you high search engine rankings, increased traffic to your website and as a result, an easier job at selling information.
