Using an autoresponder is one of the most important tools for anyone looking to earn money at home and start internet business. It is a required software application to simplify many tasks that people who promote home-based business opportunities need. Here are 7 ways to use an autoresponder to make money on the internet.

1. Product Reviews Review books, software, electronics, video games, home study courses and more and load them into your autoresponder. Write reviews on affiliate programs and promote your affiliate link for additional cash.

2. Create a mailing list A mailing list can be created to serve as a point of distribution for articles that you might create that you want to get published on websites throughout the internet.

3. Give away free reports An autoresponder can be set up to give website visitors an idea of the level of quality you offer through your products or services. This is vital if you want to earn money at home and you want to avoid creating reports that are basically glorified sales letters.

4. Trivia Quiz This use plays into the aspect of humans that do not like unanswered questions. You provide the questions to a quiz on your website and blog and require the visitors to opt into your autoresponder to get the answers. You can also have a contest where the participants send an email to your autoresponder with the answers to the questions. This way you can capture their email address and can follow up with them in the future.

5. Promote hiding web pages Web pages that you do not necessarily want on your main website, like for example, the page where you store your affiliate resources can be promoted with an autoresponder. What you do is let website visitors know that they can access your affiliate page for free by signing up on your autoresponder. As a result, you will be able to track all visitors to your website who have an interest in being an affiliate for you.

6. Special Offers Using an autoresponder gives you the ability to implement special offers. You can require everyone to sign up on your autoresponder to qualify for the offer, which will opt them into your email list where you can send them emails whenever you have a special offer so you can earn money at home.

7. Links distribution Autoresponders can also be used as a method of sharing links with your website visitors. You can email out a bunch of links to resources related to your website and promote some that make you money as well.

These 7 strategies are just a small portion of what you can do with an autoresponder. Using these strategies will help you to be able to maximize your results and earn money at home as well.

How To Get Your Online Business Set Up

Imagine the perfect business with me…

One day, along comes a visitor to your site.  She sees an invitation to your newsletter, and though she is already flooded with e-mails, shes intrigued.

“Hey, this guy thinks the way I do! This guy actually makes sense. I think I will subscribe to his newsletter and see what he has to say.”

Autoresponder number 1 does its job it collects the e-mail address, and sends the newsletter with no input from you.

(We dont call this autoresponder number one, of course. The full name is Contact Management Online Autoresponder.  Dont let that big-name scare you!)

As your visitor reads the newsletter, she appreciates your honest evaluation of your products.  She sees something thats perfect for her, and decides to buy it.

Once her order is processed, and e-mail is sent to her.  Shes thrilled at the bonus that youve added to this product.  Getting something for nothing really made her day.

Autoresponder number 2 has done its job.

The following week, a third auto responder generates an e-mail for your customer.  Shes happy that you have taken the time to ask how she enjoys the product, the service, and the value. Shes asked for a testimonial that you can share with others on your website which she gladly e-mails back.

Autoresponder number 3 has done his job.

Each week, your customer receives another e-mail.  Not only does this help them with product support, the e-mail also offers valuable tips designed to keep them reading.  Your clients benefit from tips on expanding their business, including information on how to build a free website without pay.

This helps keep your customer happy and reduces the likelihood that they will return your product. Remember, many people will not even use your product (especially informational products), unless you encourage them to.

Autoresponders #4 – #10 have done their jobs.

Of course, clients that are interested in a $10 e-book may also be interested in your more expensive home study course. Perhaps there are other opportunities for cross marketing.  By tracking the preferences of each client, and speaking directly to their preferences and desires, you can increase sales.

Every few weeks, your customer gets an email recommending another product that is related to the one they just purchased. She sees the relationship. She has been wanting a product like that for some time, but didnt know where to find it and you have just brought it to her attention.

he clicks on the link in the email and purchases the related product.  Autoresponder #11 has done his job.

Do you see the value of my secret agents, my autoresponder friends?  They work all the time, even when I dont.  I can spend time with my family, sleep, develop more products, anything that pleases me, and my auto responders will keep working without me.

Starting Up Your Own Business Through List Building

I have helped many families start up their own online businesses. Because of my expertise, I’m often asked questions about selling on the Internet. The question I most often hear is, “What types of businesses have been successful in e-commerce? What can I sell?” I have the answer.

My answer is always the same – you are asking the wrong question. Products come and go. What is hot one year, is forgotten in the next. Your clients will stay with you forever – if you take a few basic steps to ensure their loyalty. Why not start by collecting their name and e-mail address?

That is why your top priority as an online business owner (after you determine what your niche is) is to collect the emails of your visitors. This can be done with a simple email capture form available with any autoresponder service. Then you can use that autoresponder service to send sequential messages to the people on your email list.

Let’s use an example.

Bob joins your e-mail list using a simple capture form on your webpage. The next day, he gets an e-mail thanking him for visiting your site. One week later, Bob receives an e-mail to tell him about your great new sale. After that, Bob receives weekly e-mails telling him what you are selling and how it can help him. Your autoresponders do all the work for you, so you can relax.

A month later, Sally submits her email address through the same capture form.  The next day, Sally will not receive the same email message that Bob is receiving because she needs to receive messages 1 through 16 first! The message that Bob is receiving since he joined a month before will not make sense to her. That is why you need to send sequential emails through an autoresponder.

Think about that! How many of your products require more than one email to answer all the objections your customers have? Or how many of your products require some basic knowledge before your customers realize they can’t live without it? Nothing is better than sequential emails for getting the job done.

No matter when your customers join the list, they will get each e-mail in sequence. Re-capture lost sales – even after a promotion is over, offer it to new customers through your sequential e-mails. This will help you build customer loyalty and succeed in your online business.

I cannot stress enough how important this is. Put an e-mail capture form on your most popular page; usually, this will be your home page. Offer something valuable to your customers in exchange for their e-mail addresses (as an example, I offer mini-courses for marketing online). You don’t need anything expensive. Create an article, a report, even a mini-course – anything that will help your client, and convince them to provide you with an e-mail address.

Take time to build your list carefully, and you will build a valuable client base which will ensure the lasting success of your online business. Whatever you do, don’t neglect this important step. Protect yourself from changing fads and fashions, and you will build a productive online business. Auto responders make it easy, so go to it!

Every civilization has a rite of passage for those in their group that move from “student” to a contributing member of the group able to fend for themselves. You find it in the martial arts, in the working world, in the medical world (look up “white coat ceremony”) and in the animal kingdom!

There comes a point when the “apprentice” learns his craft and then launches on his own …but with his own unique style …his own unique product. He has relied heavily on his “tutor”, but now he/she is ready to take those skills and try them in the “real world”.

Sell Information More Effectively With Autoresponders

As someone who looks to sell information if you tend to find yourself drowning as you go through emails on a regular basis, you probably are not utilizing autoresponders as much as you could be.

Going through a bunch of emails is not money making activity, so how do you get around this? You do so by using autoresponders. Autoresponders are applications that are programmed to send emails for you automatically without you having to personally send the email.circuitry

There are a number of different scenarios where an autoresponder would be useful for you in your business. Businesses that sell information often have to send out the information that they sell to their customers as well as answer common questions by a number of different people. If your business is on eBay, for example, you may want to provide additional bonuses on top of your products. An autoresponder can do all of these things for you. An autoresponder can also be used to automatically promote your business and build a relationship with your prospects and customers without you having to do the legwork.

How do autoresponders do this? There are two types, email application autoresponders and web script autoresponders. Regardless of which type you personally decide to use in your business they both can perform all of the functions identified here.

While the basic autoresponder just sends out prewritten emails, there are advanced autoresponders as well. These applications allow you to set up follow-up schedules for when your emails go out. As an example, suppose you want to send out an email every day for the next six months? An autoresponder can do this for you or send out emails weekly or monthly if you want. The beauty is you get to decide how often you want the emails to go out and when they go out to your prospects and customers.

There is an autoresponder application for every budget. You can get one for free with many webhosts. You can also get one for free from third party companies that will send a link promoting their company as part of their email or you can pay for one by paying a small monthly fee for the ability to send out emails with no promotion to the host.

One of the best autoresponders that I have found is aWeber. When you sign up for it, they will give you instructions on how to get it working for you.

Autorespnders are vital for utilizing the full power of email marketing to sell information quickly for the least cost. When using email marketing, think about the different email addresses you should set up. You can have different email addresses for different contact functions. You can use an email address for information requests. You can use another one for sales requests. You can use another one to contact the company owner. Having multiple addresses personalizes the company in the mind of your potential customers.

An autoresponder is one of the best tools to implement if you want the ability to email thousands of potential and current customers. This is required, especially when you are selling because it often takes multiple contacts to make a sale. Autoresponders automate this process, which means you can make sales faster and be more effective when you sell information.

Here are 7 tips to use autoresponders. Applying these tips will ensure that you have success with starting a home business.

1. Review products.
You can review books, computer applications, songs, electronic books, films and more and add them to the autoresponder. You should also review affiliate programs and include your affiliate link.

1. Sales Automation
An autoresponder is a powerful sales automation tool that will put your sales process on autopilot. To do this, make sure you include your autoresponder email address so people can subscribe to it. This allows them to receive a number of exposures to your product offering. It should include product testimonials to build credibility as well as full descriptions of the product that you have to offer.

2. Automation of Selling Advertising
If you supplement your profits with advertising, use an autoresponder to aid in this process along with using it to sell information online. You can add emails that provide a detail rate quote to go out to subscribers upon request with a link to place an order. It can follow up with those who are interested and you can also blast out special offers to the entire list of interested parties.

3. Promote an email course
One of the best uses of an autoresponder is to create an email course. Make sure the course includes content that is of value, not a sales pitch. Doing this will help you make sales.
