What is one of the best ways to get more visitors to buy your ebook?

Articles, of course!  When you write articles around the key word phrases from your ebook research, you will increase the backward links to your ebook. This is done with a link at the bottom of each of those articles leading people back to your e-book page.  At the bottom of your article, you can write something about the author and what you will give them when they arrive at your website.  Some people call this your ethical bribe.

You can also attract visitors by paying for them.  The next time you search on Google, pay attention to the small ads on the right side of the page.  Those are Google AdWords. You can advertise your site on Google, selecting keywords based on your Internet niche. You only pay when someone clicks on that ad, which whisks them to your webpage.  It only costs pennies per click, and you can set your own budget and search terms.

The third, and most effective, way to get lots of traffic is through search engines. If you have good information on your particular topic, search engines like Google, MSN, Yahoo, and Ask Jeeves will direct a flood of traffic to your site.  This “organic” search engine traffic is free.

Search engines help you find information.  You type in “keywords” based on your preferred topic.  Web spiders then seek out the information you request.  Of course, search engines often return thousands or even millions of potential websites.  Websites that rank most highly are at the top of the list. Customers are most likely to visit those popular websites, so it is important to rank your site as highly as possible.

When these articles become a part of other people’s web pages and blogs, they provide backward links to your site and they establish you an an authority in your market.  This really improves your ranking in search engines and drives visitors to your ebook sales page.

You can literally build your own ebook publishing business from the comfort of your home, and the steps to starting an internet business can be remarkably easy.

What are the benefits to operating a home-based business marketing digital products?

1.) The first benefit is low overhead. If you were to own your own physical bookstore, there would be a tremendous amount of overhead you would have to worry about.

With a traditional business there are significant costs and investments required to keep that business operating. You typically have to have a lot of customers just to cover your monthly expenses, much less make a significant profit. A PDF ebooks business can put you in profit mode with a relatively small amount of customers.

A digital products business doesn’t have anywhere near that type of overhead. You can operate the business out of your own house with no inventory and no employees. The reason why you don’t need any inventory is because your products are digital, and they are located on the Internet. Therefore, they don’t have to be stored in your house.

2.) Another benefit to operating a digital ebook publishing business is the high profit margins that are associated with that type of business. When you offer a product online, the large majority of your expense associated with that product is in the initial creation process. You may invest either time in producing the product yourself or money in hiring people to produce the product for you.

Once your final product is created your main investment required to get your business up and running is in how you market your products. However, even in the marketing of your products there are many ways you can do this for free. By doing this for free you literally have zero costs associated with selling the product.

How do these lack of expenses affect potential profits in this type of real home business? Assuming you made a $500 investment in product creation, this will give you enough money to hire someone to write an ebook for you in some markets. Once you made this investment, you now have a finished product that you can take to the market.

3.) The next step is to promote your business, which you can do by using free marketing strategies like article marketing, social network marketing and so on. You set a price point of $47 for your product. With this price point it only takes 11 sales to make your money back. Any other sale after that is full profit for your business since you have no other costs ongoing.

As the owner of your own ebook publishing business you have a business that is truly portable. You can operate your business anywhere in the world as long as you have access to a computer as well as Internet access

In fact you don’t even need to have a telephone anymore for your business. There are programs available that allow you to turn your computer with an internet connection into a telephone using Voice Over IP technology. You truly have a business that you can run from anywhere in the world.

Selling pdf ebooks online can literally be a dream business for you. You can follow these steps to start an internet business and begin seeing profits this week!!

I have started a number of businesses and even had the privilege of coaching others, and for each of these, I have used article marketing. The reason why is because you can easily and quickly get high search engine rankings from your articles, and these rankings will propel your business into the spotlight on the internet. So let’s talk about why articles work.

Articles can be submitted to an authority site such as Ezine Articles. Because this site requires original content, Google ranks these submissions higher than others. Often within a few weeks after I submit an article, I see it ranked high. My articles are usually 300 to 700 words with a resource box pointing directly to my website. The authority of these sites build my reputation as an expert on webinars.

Articles can also generate direct traffic to your website. Lots of people with blogs and websites pick up articles from these directories and post them. For example, pretend you have a website about dogs. Other people with related sites like puppies.com, dogs and more dogs.com, or a dog blog will come and get your article. They post it on their site with your resource box, and then when people read their blog, you get free advertising. Their readers click on the link to your site, and voila! You just got free and easy traffic.

Speaking of links, articles provide great backward links. You can think of a backward link as a vote. Every time someone clicks on one of these links, your page gets a vote. The more votes, the higher your rank. The higher your rank, the more traffic you get and thereby the more business.

Getting on the first page of the search results for your keyword and staying there are two different things. There are lots of other people competing to be on the first two pages, and the competition is fierce. Article marketing can be the best tool to keep you on top.

One of the best ways to get started is to follow a step-by-step course that outlines all the internet marketing basics. The key to success is to figure out which method really is the most effective.

To begin with, you will want to submit your articles to a website called Ezine Articles. Because of the authority of this site, Google ranks articles here higher than others. It likes anything from Ezine because the site requires original articles which cannot be found in other directories. So be sure to submit to Ezine first. You can even create a template so that your process is easier.

Once your article is approved, you can use that same article to create a webpage. You can rewrite your article and post it to your business blog. This gets your article out to your list.

Next, take the second version of your article and submit it to other article directories. I use Articles Base and Article Snatch in addition to posting on Ezine. I have noticed that my articles on these three sites routinely get ranked high in Google.

When you post, rotate your article titles and resource boxes. When you rotate your resource boxes, you use different backward links to direct traffic to your domain. This can also increase your rank in Google.

Submitting articles is a popular and effective way to drive traffic to your site and also get backlinks. All it takes is some well-written articles, submitted to just the right directories. Why not begin today?

I know a lot of people who have an idea for an internet business. They just need to know where to begin. When we talk, I encourage them to learn how to find and use keywords in their niche. Keywords are crucial because they are the basic building blocks when you start an internet business. You use keywords in your articles. Google finds your keywords in your titles and in the body of your article and ranks your page higher. People find your page because you are closer to the top, and you get more traffic. With more traffic comes more sales. It is that simple.

So it makes no sense to just pull keywords out of thin air. People will not find your articles that way. Once article can include up to five or six keywords, so I let the keywords dictate what I write about. All that matters is what people want to know. If you keep that in mind, you will get very rich on the internet.

You also want to use your top keyword in the title of your article near the beginning. For example, if you do a search on “webinar strategy,” you might find this article, “Webinar Strategy – Four Ways To Promote Your Business.” Someone looking for information on webinar strategy will find this article and read it because it is exactly what they are looking for.

Keep in mind that your title should help you rank higher in the search engines, but it should also peak your reader’s curiosity. If it is interesting, people are more likely to read it. Remember that you want them to see you as an expert in your niche. You also want to generate some backward links and have them sign up to be on your list.

One more use for keywords is to include them in various places throughout your article. You can even use your less competitive keywords, and Google will rank your article higher for those. Think of it as getting the most bang for your buck.

So begin by doing your research. Figure out exactly what people are typing into the search engines for your niche. Then use those keywords as much as possible. You will see a difference in the amount of traffic AND your sales!

How Articles Can Drive More Traffic To Your Website Through Search Engines

Articles are one of the most effective ways to get good positions in the search engines. Here is how the article strategy works. Suppose we walked into a restaurant and headed over to a table with 5 people. If you said, “Are any of you musicians?” and someone raised their hand, you may believe them. If the other 4 people pointed to that person, you would certainly believe them. This is a great illustration as to how search engines operate.

If you are selling information about money saving wedding strategies and you tell Google that is what your site is about, they may believe you. On the other hand, if 30 other websites or even 100 other websites tell Google your website is about that topic, Google will conclude, “This is probably what that website is about.” If your website also has titles and content with keywords related to weddings and saving money the search engine will believe you even more.

Utilizing this strategy allows you to get high rankings for a number of keywords and phrases instead of one. Why? Articles get ranked in the search engines and they point back to your webpage. Using articles is like having a number of sales professionals promoting your products and services for a number of keywords and phrases. With this strategy you will have a number of people find your website. You also do not have to worry about the competition that comes with smaller keywords and phrases that are on millions of websites.

By using articles you will be able to dramatically increase the amount of traffic that your website receives. Even better, you will be able to take some of the traffic that your competitors receive. The reason why is because some of your competitors will pick up your articles and use them on their websites. They help you even if they are selling information for your topic also.

The end result is better search engine positioning, more people visiting your website and you selling information more efficiently and effectively.

A Personal Message From Stephen and Kerry

Buy Your Way To Success

You have always heard that the key to success is hard work. But hard work is not the only thing necessary. I could name dozens of people that work very hard (60-70 hours a week) and make less than 60,000 per year. Obviously, there’s something missing.

So what is the key? More importantly, what is the key to FAST success?

I believe the key is “buying” your way to success. When I look at the joint venture partners that have made me the most money in the last 5 years, they all have a common element. I either met them at a seminar or a mastermind.

For example, Jeff Herring and I have made each other a ton of money in the last few years. He promotes my products to his list and I promote his products to my list. Where did we meet? We met at a Matt Bacak event that cost $3500 to attend.

Bernadette Doyle and Carrie Wilkerson have also recommend my products to their list (and I return the favor). Where did we meet? We are in the same master mind together.

Jeff Mills asked me to speak at his event and through that event, I met Alejandro Reyes who asked me to speak at his event …where I met Joel Comm who wrote the NY Times best seller, “The Adsense Code”. Twitter – Build a list on Twitter that is more responsive than your email list. Yes, you heard that right, more responsive than your email list. There are at least 2 reasons for this: 1) You bypass the spam filters of email programs and 2) you get immediate, as in within seconds, feedback on what you are offering, asking or saying. Do you get the power of that? Bypassing the spam filters and getting immediate feedback, just in case you missed it.

Facebook – Many online experts predict that a Facebook Fan Page will replace the standard email list by 2012. Think of it this way – if you sent 3 – 5 emails a day to your list, you would get unsubscribes in droves, right? But if you post 3 – 5 updates a day to your Facebook Fan Page you would not only get unsubscribes, your list would grow as your updates are seen by others in the stream of your fans.

YouTube – At the time of this writing, YouTube is getting twice the traffic of Google. Create a few slides in PowerPoint, use a Screen Capture tool like Camtasia, and talk about the information on the slides, upload it to YouTube and Boom! you’ve got a short little video featuring you and your expertise.

Your Blog - I think the coolest thing about a Blog is the ability to interact with those in your community. When you invite and encourage comments on your blog, you are inviting your tribe to share in the conversation. This builds so much “know, like and trust” and people do business with those they know like and trust.

EzineArticles - Not typically thought of as a Social Marketing tool, but it always has been for me. Upload a piece of your content and it can get syndicated all over the Internet. Plus you can invite your readers to comment on your articles, thus creating further conversation and connection.

Now here’s the really good news. Since you don’t have the budget of a Google or Yahoo, to plaster your name all over the Internet, it’s good that you don’t have to be found all over the internet. You just need to be found all over the internet in your niche, and when you have a regular presence on these 5 sites you will.

A Personal Message From Stephen and Kerry

Too many early mornings this week! Normally I wake up when I’m finished sleeping (no alarm clocks for this Internet marketer!) But every Tuesday, I have to get up at 5:15am to teach a men’s biblestudy at 6am. I know, I know. If that’s the hardest thing I have to suffer through, then I’m a pretty lucky guy!

But I also have to get up at 2am this Saturday because I’m taking my daughter duck hunting. It will be our last hunting trip before she becomes a married woman. Duck hunting has always been one of our favorite activities together. My other two kids never liked cold weather, wet waders and shotguns …but Ashley always did!So, it will be another early morning this week. But the cool thing about running an Internet business is that I can come home and go to bed …without getting yelled at by the boss!

Our Students Are Successful!

I met Kerry and Steve at Yanik Silver’s Underground Seminar, got on their mailing list and within a short time purchased “8 Weeks to Profit”. I devoured it. I went through all the material in a week and then had it by my side through every step of the product completion and marketing.

When I started I didn’t know the difference between anchor text and an autoresponder! I knew how to send email and shop online, but that was it. My husband and son always teased me about computer illiterate, but not anymore.

I have my first information product, “The Truth About FSBO Complete Selling System”. I promote it as a “total realtor replacement system” for people who want to sell their house “for sale by owner”.

I have also just released a second product, “FSBO 2.0 Blueprint” which focuses on how the internet and technology has changed the way houses are now sold. I’ve come a long way in a short time. I now consider myself an internet marketer who does real estate investing rather than a real estate investor who does internet marketing.

I want to say that I could have never gotten my project off the ground without “8 Weeks to Profits”. I needed a calm and patient voice like Steve virtually holding my hand through the
process.

Once I got my product and website ready, I put it on Clickbank. I immediately had lots of affiliates promoting it. I’ve mainly used article marketing to generate traffic and just started doing videos.

What I Learned From My Internet Mastermind Event

A few months ago our daughter Ashley came with us to our mastermind event in Florida. Our group meets 3 times a year to discuss internet business opportunity strategies. My husband attended a power boating
event with some of the other guys. He had a blast getting out on the water.

My daughter and I had other plans. We decided to do a girls day at the spa. It was a great experience getting pampered with massages, pedicures and manicures. We then had an incredible lunch poolside surrounded by waterfalls.While we did have fun that isn’t the only thing we did. We also spent a significant amount of time

masterminding. Each of us shared what was working well for us in our business as well as what we needed help with. While I cannot share everything (because of confidentiality), here is what we are going to do.

1. Joint Venture Partnerships: One of the benefits of the mastermind event is the number of joint venture opportunities available. There are 4 other members of the mastermind that we are going to be working together with on a few projects. We are also going to be doing some joint ventures with some of the guests of our mastermind members. The guests that attend typically have an internet business opportunity as well so we can work with them also. Joint ventures in the past have increased our sales 50%.

2. Doing Webinars For New Subscribers: Every month we are going to offer a monthly webinar for all our new subscribers. On this webinar we are going to teach them how to create an info product. We will also give them an opportunity to work with us on an info product as well.

3. More videos for our business: Why are we are doing more videos? – They give us additional promotion for our products and web site. – They help our search engine optimization efforts by giving us more back links. – They help us make more money from our affiliate promotions. – We believe they will increase our webinar attendance. We are going to create a video registration page for our webinars to see if it increases our conversion rate. We should have an idea soon after we test it.

The mastermind event was a smashing success for us. Thanks to it, we have a number of key takeaways to run with for our internet business opportunity and you can apply many of these takeaways to your business also.
