A Reader Doesn’t Believe Me!

Here is an email I received just hours after sending out my email
inviting you to hear the teleseminar in my Gold Level area about
writing a killer sales letter.

I stated in my email that my sales letter for Secrets to Building
Sites That Sell generated $48,000 in just 5 days.

Well, someone didn’t believe me and here is his email…

 Subject: RE: I DON’T  believe you really sold $48K in 5
 days…

 Steve,

 I hope you receive this email as not too critical…When
 I read your email…I did not believe this at all…

 Like most people who work by the sweat of their
 brow…40, 50, 60+ hours a week, just to make ends
 meet…it’s hard to believe this is even possible for
 someone to make $48K in 5 days by sending out an email.

 I almost want to accuse you of lying…and deceiving
 myself and others JUST to sign up for your web
 school…(I almost signed up a month ago.)

 Is selling “whatever”, (not sure really what internet
 marketing people really sell) make that much money in
 that little time, by sending out an email??? I don’t
 believe you and I am sure 100’s of people out there don’t
 believe you either…and others like yourself. I am a
 Christian as you and want to stand before God at the
 judgment seat with a clear conscience that I am living
 with integrity and that my work counts for eternity.

 If I don’t hear a response I will assume that you are
 also not able to back your claim that you made $48K in 5
 days…as so many others have…

Actually, Doug put his phone number at the bottom of the email
and we had a nice chat that I will tell you about later. He also
gave me permission to share this email.

So on to the proof…

range from May 16 to May 22 (I had to set the range to May 22

So actually I lied. I didn’t sell $48,000 in 5 days. I sold
$51,600 in 5 days!

Why did so many people buy the course? Because they saw the
incredible value of learning a skill that would get their family
out of debt and teach their children entrepreneurial skills for
the future.

They wanted to gain freedom in their lives…

 - freedom to determine what kind of work they do
 - freedom to determine who they will work with
 - freedom to determine when they spend time with their family
 - freedom to choose where they will live
 - freedom to follow their interests and passions
 - freedom to go where God has called them

Now, I don’t want you to get the wrong idea about Doug, the guy
who wrote the email above. Here is what else he wrote…

Ok…if I sound critical, please forgive me…

 It seems like all the Christian entrepreneur folks like
 you are not real and only selling HYPE on and not really
 making any money and not doing any work serving the Lord
 through this… Its how much more money I can make, vs.
 how I can make money to bring it in to give it to
 ministries and orphans, widows or others that need it…I
 hope you hear my heart and concern.

 I am a father of 7 children and I want to teach them to
 be out of debt, serve God and serve others, and I don’t
 see this in the Christian entrepreneur endeavors like
 yours. I look forward to your response.

I couldn’t agree more with Doug. MOST of what you see out there
is hype! That is why I have ALWAYS tried to bring in the biblical
component. That is why I am currently attending seminary and
reading 15,000 pages a year. Do not buy my course to make a ton
of money and just spend it on yourself!

The things I am teaching are designed to give you extra money and
extra time. Then I fully expect you to invest a large part of
that extra time and money back into the Kingdom of God.

I want to teach people to further the Kingdom of God, one family
business at a time.
