Hey,
This is Stephen Beck with FamilyEbiz.com.
I want to give you 6 steps to creating an ebook that ANYONE CAN
FOLLOW!
Actually, my wife followed these steps to write an ebook that was
not related to internet marketing, business or anything like
that.
In fact, it was about education. Now education should supposedly
be one of the most unprofitable subjects you can write about, but
she has managed to make over $12,000 this Summer with a simple
ebook about teaching your children how to think for themselves
and become future leaders.
Want to see the steps that you could follow to have your own
PROFITABLE ebook in 6 weeks?
(and that is the long time frame, just to make it easy!)
So here are the steps:
WEEK 1:
Choose a topic that you have a passion for.
Right now, I am not concerned with how profitable it is or how
big the niche is. I just want you to write an ebook to see how
simple it is.
If you have some emails to send to, send a SHORT survey to them
about your topic using a free service called “survey monkey”. Ask
them what is their most burning question about (your topic).
If you don’t have emails to send to, don’t sweat it.
Next, write out a ROUGH outline for your first teleconference. DO
NOT WRITE OUT A WHOLE SCRIPT!
Just write out a simple outline about your topic that has about 5
points.
Next, schedule a telesminar for week 2. Here is a free service
you can use:
Now, send an email out inviting people to your free teleseminar.
Invite people on blogs, forums and yahoo groups. If you want to
get fancy, capture their emails, but that is not necessary for
your first ebook.

We are giving away a “Secrets to Building Sites That Sell” home
study course for the best comment on my blog!
Go to the Blog Post on November 3 for the contest details.
We are launching “Secrets to Building Sites That Sell” on
Wednesday, Nov 8 at 1pm (PACIFIC STANDARD TIME)
Here is the site:

WEEK 2:
Write out the rough outline for your next teleseminar,
teleseminar #2.
Do teleseminar #1 on a Tuesday or Thursday evening at 6pm Pacific
so you can catch everyone from coast to coast.
Record the teleseminar using a personal recorder and a Radio
Shack Multi-Phone Recording Controller (about $30).
Give the recording to a college student to transcribe for around
$50 per audio hour. If you can’t find someone, send it to me and
I will have it transcribed for you.
Next, schedule telesminar #2 for week 3.
Now, send an email out inviting people to your next free
teleseminar. Invite people on blogs, forums and yahoo groups.
WEEK 3:
Write out the rough outline for teleseminar #3.
Do teleseminar #2 on a Tuesday or Thursday evening at 6pm Pacific
so you can catch everyone from coast to coast.
Record the teleseminar.
Get the recording transcribed.
Next, schedule telesminar #3 for week 4.
Now, send an email out inviting people to your next free
teleseminar. Invite people on blogs, forums and yahoo groups.
Hopefully, you are capturing emails to make this process easier.
WEEK 4:
Do teleseminar #3 on a Tuesday or Thursday evening at 6pm Pacific
so you can catch everyone from coast to coast.
Record the teleseminar.
Get the recording transcribed.
Send out an email telling them about your new ebook coming in 2
weeks.
Set up an account with ClickBank so you can sell your ebook on
ClickBank. (The “sell products” tab)
WEEK #5:
Assemble all of your transcripts into one document. You can take
out the “he said” parts, but it is not necessary. Design a simple
cover for your ebook. Create a PDF document from your Word
document.
Make a SINGLE page website that lists the benefits of the ebook.
There should only be one link on the entire web page…your
Click Bank “buy it” link (oh, you may want an email capture box as
well).
Make a “thank you” page so that your customers can download the
ebook (you may want to throw in some downloadable bonuses). Put
the ebook (PDF document) the “thank you” page.
Send the above information to ClickBank. ClickBank will accept
the payments for you, track the affiliates for you and send you a
check every 30 days!
Send out an email describing the benefits of your new ebook and
answer two of their objections to purchasing your ebook. If you
have a blog, create a contest to give away a copy of your ebook
for the best blog post.
Tell them that you will launch your ebook next week.
WEEK #6:
Launch your ebook. Send out emails announcing the winner of the
contest and that your ebook is officially launched!
You may want to offer the recordings as an up sell with the ebook.
To get even more excitement, you may want to increase the price
every day for 5 days. Day 1-$25, Day 2-$27, Day 3-$30, Day 4-$35,
and Day 5 (and forever after that)-$37
Start on your next ebook!
——————————————————-
There you have it. A PROFITABLE ebook in 6 weeks. Very Do-able!
Not that hard! But it will take a little effort on your part.
It is not important that you make a ton of money on this first
ebook. The important thing is that you ACTUALLY CREATE IT AND
LIST IT ON CLICKBANK!
Now you have a plan.
Send me your link when you get it up.
Blessings,
Stephen Beck

Hey Stephen,
Cool site, found it through your press release, you should write a press release ebook guide
You didn’t mention what the free teleconference service is btw
peace,
What I’d really like to know, is how you set up an email capture…
This is a nice straightforward guide, and I love the way you slipped in the mention of the giveaway – I knew I’d seen it, and had to go back and re-read/skim about another 3 times till I found it again.
The free teleconference service is:

How to set up an email capture:
The only effective way is to use an autorespoder service like Aweber. They have a wizard that will set up your email capture box that will appear on your web page. It can be a static one or a dynamic pop-over. Aweber costs about $30 per month. Here is their link:

Most of us homeschoolers have home businesses or are thinking of starting a home business. We look for how to start one that will let us have time to school our children and make the money we need. We look for income that can both provide for our family AND be moral. We are not into get rich quick and tired of the marketing to your friends idea. We don’t have time for the endless party sales nor do we want to continually make a product, like knitting socks or sewing dresses. Although both are great skills that can bring in money but the both take a lot of time from our schooling.
Well I am discovering some new ways that so far hasn’t taken much time. I am blogging. Steve Beck has taught me some really neat things and so far I have made $70 in about a month. You may say well, Sher, $70 isn’t much. You are so right but I had put a link in my signature last month about something Steve and told me about. And not doing anything else he said to do I made $70 over and above our normal income! That made me go back and reread and rethink what else he said. WOW this could work. This could bring home enough $$$ money that would make a difference in our family income!
Thank you, Steve, for all you have taught me!
I heard an interview you did with Cindy Rushton a while back and so I was glad to hear about the re-release. We are a homeschooling family with 4 children ages 11-4. Dad has a job in NYC and we live in NJ, so between the long hours and the commute we hardly get any time together. We are praying for some way to have a family business where we can follow God’s call to our family without being beholden to a company. We also have felt a call to teach our children to be self sufficient and want to include entrepenaurialship in their studies.
I’ve been recieving Steve’s emails, now to make the time to implement them. Thank you so much for all the info!!
My husband is actively looking for something to do at home; and although we tend to be a bit skeptical about this, I keep coming back to your promotion of internet businesses. I don’t want to miss out on an opportunity just because of our skepticism!
