Steve,
I want to protect my ebook from being shared, what option do I have? A PDF with recovery software if they break copyright?

Dear Just Wondering,
Here is my philosophy on ebooks…
I want to make my ebooks as accessible as possible to gain as many customers as possible, therefore all of my ebooks are in PDF form. I use ebooks to lead to bigger products.
Also, it is too much hassle to mess with passwords and usernames for a $27 ebook, so I don’t protect them.
Will some people share them? Yes, but it is a small percentage and I can make more money concentrating on my next ebook than worrying about the few that will share my ebook.
If I have content I really want to protect, I either create a physical information product that has to be shipped or I put the content behind a password protected membership site.
I have looked at a lot of expensive ways to protect an ebook and in the end, the cost does not justify the benefit for an inexpensive product like an ebook.
Just my 2 cents. Blessings,
Stephen Beck
