What does it do?
A
16 hour video tutorial on everything you wanted to know about Ebay, but
where afraid to ask. While other courses teach you how to sell a few
items here and there on Ebay, this course will teach you how to make a
living (and a comfortable one at that!) on Ebay.
Things I Like:
Every now and then a product comes along that makes
you say, "Where have you been all my life!" Well,
Auction Genius Course is one of
those. By virtue of owning a bookstore and running a website that
specializes in small business, I have the opportunity to read and listen
to more business books and CD's than the average bear! What that means
is...I get to see the good, the bad and the ugly of most of the stuff
out there.
Quite frankly, most of the internet business Ebooks
and courses on CD just don't deliver what they promise. They may contain
a few nuggets (especially in the introduction), but ultimately they lack
the detail to allow you to fully implement their ideas. Invariably I
finish one of the books or CD's and ask, "Where's the BEEF?!?"
- Where are the lists of suppliers I will need to
make this business model work?
- Where are the step-by-step instructions, not just
the exhortation to find what's hot and then sell that (as if you and I
haven't thought of that already!).
- Where are the time-saving devices that make
this business idea feasible so that I don't lose heart on the way?
- Basically, will this course tell me exactly what to
do...not give me merely the general idea and then make me struggle through
the details (which may or may not be proven to work!).
Well, small business fans, this is one of the few
courses that has the BEEF! Sydney is an expert at selling on
ebay and she teaches hundreds of students every
year and she even gives homework assignments! Imagine that, learning a
principle, then being given a concrete assignment to put that principle
into action. Action that will generate some cash now...and
eventually lead to making a living!
Not only does she give you step-by-step instructions
in her Auction
Genius Course,
she also gives the principles behind them. Sydney is not interested in
you selling various items, one at a time, on eBay. While she may
encourage you to find top ebay selling items, she is really teaching a
way to research a product thoroughly, write a killer listing, copy that
template, and sell that product over and over and over, many times a
week.
And when you have mastered that, you can add to your
product line. And when you have mastered that, you can begin
diversifying into other areas of internet marketing to generate multiple
streams of income. Sound simple? The devil is in the details.
This is no get rich quick program. You will
have to work. You will have to do research. And it will take some time.
But Sydney has laid out all the steps with tons of detail and tons of
encouragement. This is one of the few courses where, if you follow the
steps, you WILL SUCCEED. I guarantee.
Things I Would Change:
While the content of this course can not be matched,
the delivery leaves a little to be desired. There are times when the
voice goes on ahead and the screen has to play catch-up.
Also, Sydney shows you how to do things like list a
product, but she goes pretty fast and there is not a lot of practice
time involved or "watch me as I do another one, so you can get the hang
of it".
Conclusion:
This is hands-down the most thorough
and complete Ebay tutorial out there. If you follow Sydney's
instructions, you will definitely be successful. But, you are going to
have to work at it. As with all the products I review, nothing is going
to make you money by itself. You are going to have to actually research
products and list them on Ebay. But there is no better course on seeing
the BIG PICTURE than this one.
